This edition of our Health and Independence series, will address the income tested care fee.

In general, there are two types of fees paid by people who get a Home Care Package. The basic daily fee is paid by everyone and is set by the Department of Health and Aged Care. The income tested care fee is paid by people who can afford to pay towards their aged care, based on their income.

CCNB Practice Manager, Wendy Kurko, will help to demystify the ITF and help to clarify it’s purpose and calculations.

When: 18 August 1-2pm.

Where: Online

Cost: Free
