Community Mentoring at CCNB – Information Session

August 21 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Join us and find out how becoming a CCNB Community Mentor can change lives forever

Community mentors are everyday people with good life skills and connections who want to support people who need a helping hand.

A CCNB Community Mentor is a volunteer who is trained and supported to guide and support a person at their time of need. Generally, a Mentor is linked to a person who needs to be connected to their community, access services supports and needs a bit of help to set and reach their goals.

We are recruiting Community Mentors now!

People who benefit from accessing a Community Mentor are those with a mental illness, a disability, new mothers or fathers at risk, those leaving either prison or the Defence Force, young people or LGBTIQ people.

If you are interested in becoming a Community Mentor, come along to this informative session where you will be provided with more information about the following:

•    What mentoring involves
•    Accredited training
•    Who you may be working with

Please call Scott Thompson from CCNB if you have any questions on 9998 2936.
