Dementia is a part of life for the thousands of people living with this disease and their carers and families. The vast majority of people living with dementia rely on their family for support. It’s a role that brings joy, togetherness, personal growth and the reward of being able to help. It also comes with challenges, stress and strain.
Let’s Talk about dementia: a symposium for families and carers brings together families and carers with experts working in the field of dementia who will showcase perspectives contributing to our understanding, treatment and care of dementia, and provide a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas.
